Course Information


Did you know that almost 50% of older adults report having a fear of falling? Fear of falling can lead to anxiety, depression, physical weakness, social isolation AND increase the risk for falls! 

Targeting these emotional risk factors is a critical part to reducing fall risk that often gets neglected. That's why I developed my comprehensive Fall Prevention class, to target physical, environmental AND mental and emotional risk factors to help reduce fall risk for seniors. 

The course provides education on how to maintain a safe environment, training with seated balance exercises focusing on weight shifts, posture and laws of gravity and concludes with a holistic technique using visualization to target fear of falling and provide you with an alternate way to improve your skills.
